Compel Kids Jr. — Birth–5 Years
For our nursery age kids, we provide a nurturing environment of faith, love, and spiritual growth so that children grow up to understand who God is and how much He loves them. We want each child to know when they leave our Nursery that “God made you, God loves you and Jesus wants to be your friend forever!” Through games, arts and crafts, and the Bible story this message is communicated in fun and creative ways.
What to Expect
6 weeks - 1 Year
Your child will experience personal care from our well-staffed team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned between services. We know babies have specific needs and schedules, so when you bring your child to the classroom, we have an easy-to-use form that you can fill out to let our team know the feeding, sleeping, and changing needs your child has. We also take time to love and pray for your child each week.
2 Years - Pre K
Our rooms are designed with your child in mind. From age-appropriate toys and special service elements just for them, our team is ready to care for and have fun with your little one during service. In preschool, children start to engage more with their church experience. We help them interact with their friends, form relationships with their teachers, and build their faith in God. Each week they will engage with stories, video lessons, small groups, and worship songs that give them Biblical truths.

- We do provide snacks however if your child has an allergy please notify the teacher. You can send a snack also if you prefer.
If your child is sad, we will give them fifteen minutes to adjust before we page/text a parent. Often it takes a few minutes to adjust to a new surrounding. Our volunteers are experts at distracting with fun toys and engaging children in a fun activity. If you would like for us to call before fifteen minutes just let us know. We do encourage you to keep trying! Consistency is the key!
Doors open to enviroments 15 minutes before service begins. You are welcome to arrive earlier to get them checked in!

All volunteers ages 18+ are background checked before entering a Compel Kids Jr room. No adult without a clear background check will be permitted in the classrooms.
Bathroom Policy: Only female volunteers ages 16 or over are allowed to change diapers or assist a child in the bathroom. A volunteer will never be alone in the bathroom with a child at any time.
Allergy Policy: Compel Kids Jr is a nut-free environment. Parents can inform us of any additional allergies or medical concerns at registration. This information will be listed on your child’s name tag so teachers can be mindful of those concerns when dispersing snacks or treats. If your child develops any allergies after registration, just stop by our Guest Services area and they will be able to update your child’s information in our system.
Emergency Protocols: Each of our classrooms are equipped with emergency protocols in case of fire, inclement weather or lockdown. If any of these events occur, please follow the instructions given from the platform in the auditorium. No children will be released during an emergency situation until Compel Kids Jr receives an all-clear from the proper authorities.
If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms in the past 24 to 48 hours, please join us online.
- Fever of 100 degrees or higher
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Severe cough
- Pink Eye
- Sore throat in conjunction with fever and swollen glands
- Rashes of any kind, other than diaper rash.
- Open sores or blisters
- Symptoms of common childhood diseases - Scarlet Fever, Chicken Pox, Whooping Cough, Hand/ Foot/Mouth, etc.
Our team follows cleaning and sanitation procedures that include: Asking all volunteers and children to wash their hands upon entering the classroom; hand sanitizing wipes or hand sanitizer will be offered where sinks are unavailable. We wipe down all surfaces before and after each service and sanitize toys.
