Welcome to Compel Church (“Compel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of our website at compel.church, mobile app, online giving services, and other digital services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Certain services, events, registrations, or communications may also be subject to additional terms or policies, which will be provided when applicable. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please discontinue use of the applicable Services.
1. Digital Content and Website Use
- Permitted Use: You may use Compel’s website, app, and digital services for lawful purposes and in ways that do not interfere with their operation or other users’ access.
- Intellectual Property: Content provided by Compel, including sermons, videos, livestreams, graphics, written materials, photographs, logos, and other creative assets, may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other laws. You may share Compel content for personal, noncommercial purposes when appropriate, provided it is not altered or presented in a misleading way. Commercial use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of Compel’s logos, branding, or other creative assets requires prior written permission from Compel.
- User Submissions: If you submit prayer requests, comments, photos, or other content through our digital services, please ensure you have the right to share it and avoid submitting content that violates another person’s privacy or rights, or that is unlawful or abusive. We may remove or restrict submitted content where appropriate and where our services allow us to do so.
2. Financial Stewardship and Online Giving
- Compel Church provides online giving options to make it easier for individuals to support the mission and ministries of our church. Online donations and payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Pushpay, and are subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.
- If you have a question about a donation, believe a transaction was made in error, or need assistance with a payment, please contact Compel Church at info@compel.church.
- Charitable contributions are generally not refundable. However, if you believe a donation was processed incorrectly, please contact us so we can review the situation.
3. Communications, SMS and Email
Compel Church may communicate with you through email, text messages, and other digital channels when you provide your contact information or choose to receive these communications.
- Email Communications: Compel may send emails about church announcements, upcoming events, ministry opportunities, registrations, and other church-related information. These communications may be delivered through different service providers. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. We may still send necessary messages related to registrations, transactions, or services you have requested.
- Text Messages: If you opt in to receive text messages from Compel Church, you may receive messages about church announcements, upcoming events, ministry updates, volunteer opportunities, and other church-related information. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, contact us at info@compel.church. Additional terms may apply to specific messaging programs.

4. Ministries, Events, and Child Safety
Participation in our physical and digital church communities comes with a shared responsibility to keep everyone safe.
- Child and Youth Safety: The safety of minors is our highest priority. Parents or legal guardians must register children for Compel Kids & Compel Kids Jr. (8 weeks-5th grade) and comply with our check-in/check-out policies. The Church enforces strict volunteer screening and background checks in all Next-Gen environments.
- Event and Ministry Registrations: Certain Compel Church events, camps, and ministry activities may require registration or additional information. By registering, you agree to provide accurate information and follow any instructions or requirements communicated for that event or activity. Additional terms may apply to specific events or programs.
- Event Fees, Changes, and Cancellations: Some Compel Church events and activities may require a registration fee. Compel Church may modify, reschedule, or cancel events or activities due to weather, safety concerns, scheduling changes, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Code of Conduct: We expect all attendees, volunteers, and members to treat one another with dignity, respect, and kindness, creating a safe and welcoming environment across all church activities.
5. Media Release (Photography and Filming)
We love sharing what God is doing in our community. Please be aware of how we handle media:
- Compel Church may livestream or record church services and capture photographs or videos during church services, events, and ministry activities for church communications, promotional materials, social media, and other ministry related purposes.
- By attending a service or event, you acknowledge that photography, video recording, or livestreaming may take place. Compel will make reasonable efforts to respect requests from individuals who do not wish to be featured in photographs or videos. If you have concerns about being photographed or recorded, please speak with a Dream Teamer on your campus.
- Minors: We take extra care with children. We will not publish close-up, identifiable photos or videos of minors from Next-Gen environments without parental approval.

6. Dream Team Participation
Compel Church offers opportunities to serve through its ministries, events, and outreach efforts. Individuals who serve may be asked to complete training, follow ministry guidelines, or meet additional requirements based on their role.
Certain Dream Team positions may require background checks or other screening procedures. Dream Teamers are expected to follow applicable church policies, safety procedures, and instructions provided by ministry leaders.
Dream Team participation does not create an employment relationship with Compel Church. Compel Church reserves the right to determine serve assignments and eligibility to serve in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Digital Services: Compel Church makes reasonable efforts to keep its website, mobile app, and digital services available and accurate. However, we cannot guarantee that these services will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical issues.
- Information and Resources: Content provided through Compel’s website, app, messages, sermons, and other resources is intended for informational, educational, and spiritual purposes. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Individuals should seek qualified professional assistance when appropriate.
- Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by applicable law, Compel Church is not responsible for losses or damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, its website, app, or other digital services. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions as our ministries evolve. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Your continued engagement with our church constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
