“It’s not about what we can do with what we have, but what God can do with what we give.” This weekend we were joined by special guest speaker Dan Clark from Convoy of Hope. This is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. Compel has been partnering with Convoy of Hope for years, and we are so excited to be apart of ‘One Day’s Wage for Convoy of Hope’ to help fight poverty around the world!
What you might be thinking is, “Well what does this have to do with me?”
As Pastor Patrick said, “You are more spiritual than you are physical, and the way you connect your everyday need to eternity is to connect your life to God’s plan rather than your own. You must get outside of yourself and connect to eternity in God and His plan in, not just your own life, but in this world.” We are so blessed to be able to love on humanity through philanthropy, by stepping outside of ourselves and into a giving spirit to help work towards eradicating poverty for good.
