Requirements

Must be a committed follower of Christ
Must be a member of Compel Church (or in the process of membership)
A strong desire to grow spiritually and develop ministry skills
Willingness to engage in the community and contribute to group learning
A heart for serving others and living out the mission of the church
Ability to commit to weekly attendance and active participation in the program
Open to feedback and personal growth through spiritual formation

What is Leadership Academy?

Compel Leadership Academy exists to form and equip leaders who reflect Jesus and use their influence to help others become passionate followers of Christ. This is a six week leadership development experience for current and emerging leaders who want to grow in their ability to lead, serve, and develop others. Through practical teaching, workshop style discussions, and a leadership assessment, participants will explore biblical leadership, personal character, relational influence, healthy conflict, Compel’s leadership culture, and the example of Jesus as the Shepherd Leader.
