Spirit of Fear

This week we embarked on our new series ‘Roar: Courage to Conquer” Pastor Patrick challenged us to memorize 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Fear is a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., wither the threat is real or imagined. We must remember that fear is the enemy’s most used weapon and God has equipped us to overcome it. “What is the right thing to fear? GOD! All lesser fears will be swallowed up in the life of a person who fears God alone!” -Mark Rutland
