21 Days of Prayer and Fasting

To kick off our new year rooted in God’s purpose, as a church we are committing to 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting beginning on Thursday, January 15th!

Starting on January 15th, Monday through Saturday at our Southaven Campus, we will begin our day with intentional prayer together. Join us every day for a short devotional and designated prayer. Sunday morning prayer will take place during service times. We will not be meeting February 4th at 7a, instead join us for First Wednesday on February 4th for a 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting finale to end our fast together.

Types of Fast

 

  • The Daniel Fast

    Refrain from consuming animal products, sugar, alcohol, caffeine, and refined or processed foods. Eat vegetables, whole grains, fruits, legumes, unleavened bread, and oils.

  • Complete Fast

    In this type of fast, you drink only liquids, typically water with light juices as an option. Drink only liquids (you establish the number of days).

  • Social Media Fast

    Refrain from using social media during the 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.

  • Partial Fast

    This fast is sometimes called the “Jewish Fast” and involves abstaining from eating any type of food in the morning and afternoon. This can either correlate to specific times of the day, such as 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or from sunup to sundown.

  • Daniel Fast Cookbook

    The Daniel Fast Cookbook is our helpful tool for you to guide you through 21 days of Daniel Fast Friendly recipes! In this cookbook, you can find more information on what the Daniel Fast is, guidelines for following it, food do’s and don’t, and helpful recipes!
