After years of planning, meeting, and prayer in the Hernando community…
IT’S TIME to build a permanent home. Compel Church has a vision to compel the unconvinced of Hernando to become passionate followers of Christ. We are called to be a unique expression of Christ’s body in our county’s seat – making His name famous and His work’s known!

God has already blessed us with an incredible location at 1835 Mclngvale Road and construction is now underway!
We are planning to create a ‘lifestyle’ campus in which people in the community can bring their families. We seek to be a relevant part of the social structure of the Hernando community for generations to come.

Our Vision

Compel Church Hernando is so honored to be able to serve the Hernando community in many ways. Our primary focus will always be the spiritual health of the citizens. We believe that God loves every person He created and wants to be in a relationship with them. We demonstrate God’s love by providing relevant teachings, being authentic in who we are, and having fun together as we grow closer to God and closer together. We also support our schools, businesses, and police. We love our neighbors and prioritize compassion and serving wherever we see a need.

The Building

When the campus is complete,
we will have a “Lifestyle Campus” which will include beautiful buildings that are spacious, comfortable, and appealing along with world-class children’s ministry areas. Upon completion, we will have walking trails through a wooded area, picnic tables, fire pits, ball fields for our church as well as the community to use, and a large gazebo for family gatherings.

Construction Updates:

The construction is on schedule at our property at 1801 McIngvale Road. We have cleared the land, built the drainage systems, run water, electricity, and fire hydrants. The concrete for the slab as well as the curbs have been poured.

The Goal

The Hernando campus funding for the
It’s Time Campaign began in May and we have currently raised just under $400,000.
The goal for our campus is to raise $1,000,000. Therefore, we need to raise another $600,000.

Pray With Us

We invite you to pray for our campus in several ways…

  • Pray that we are effective in reaching out to the lost. That the message of Jesus and His love is contagious and clear.
  • Pray that the people that hear the message make wise decisions regarding their marriages, their children, their finances, and their relationships.
  • Pray for the financial needs to be met; that God will put the burden to help on people’s hearts and will give cheerfully.
  • Pray that our leadership stays strong and effective in leading these incredible families.
  • Pray that construction goes well, that the workers are protected from injury, and that we have good weather and favor with inspectors and officials.

We meet every Sunday at 10 AM in Hernando at Hernando High School! We believe that ministry to the whole family is important so we strive to have an environment for everyone that is fun and relevant. We absolutely can’t wait to meet you soon!
