As life becomes complicated, stressful, and overwhelming, we may start to feel far from God. Sometimes it feels like barely keeping afloat. Others, it may feel like being on an island alone. As women, we often carry what feels like the burden of our families, children, careers and roles as caretakers. We are not meant to do this alone! However, if we allow it, the obstacles we face will keep us in the valley of struggle.
We serve a God who is faithful, present, aware of our struggles and who desires to lean in with us as we run our race!
This semester, we will focus on encouraging one another through the Word of God, strengthening and covering each other with prayer as well as reading together “Fervent: A Woman’s Battle Plan for Specific, and Strategic Prayer” by Priscilla Shirer. We will also hold each other accountable to self-care and listening to God’s voice in the midst of trial. We will also enjoy sharing testimonies of His faithfulness along the way.
This group will meet weekly at the Olive Branch Campus on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. Childcare is provided for those who need it.
