Season of Giving is here!

This is the time of year that we intentionally focus on giving back to our community. Through Angel Tree Tags, the Dream Center Turkey Meal Giveaway, and the Dream Center’s Winter Wonderland, we get to give generously to those in need this season!

November 10th + 17th || Angel Tree Tag Pickup

  • Our Season of Giving kicks off Sunday, November 10th, with Angel Tree tag pickup. You’ll be able to grab a tag and give a gift to a family that is in need for Winter Wonderland and All is Bright for Ladies of God Behind Bars in Henning. The following weekend on the 17th you will still be able to pick up Angel Tree tags if you weren’t here on November 10th.

November 17th + 24th || Angel Tree Tag Drop-off

  • Gift drop-off will be the following Sunday on November 17th and the 24th. Please bring gifts unwrapped.

November 27th || Dream Center Turkey Cook & Giveaway

  • The Dream Center is giving away 300 fried turkeys and meals to families that are struggling to put food on their table this year.

  • We will be preparing for this event on Monday and Tuesday, November 25th and 26th. It will take over 100 volunteers all day Wednesday (November 27th) to fry turkeys and pack/distribute food boxes while praying for the families. This event will take place at the Dream Center.

  • Sponsoring a family’s Thanksgiving meal is another way you can be a part of this impactful event. Click the link above if you would like to sponsor a family’s meal for Thanksgiving.

December 14th || Winter Wonderland

  • We will be hosting families from the Dream Center as well as other families in our community. This will be a time for the entire family to come together and celebrate the season. During Winter Wonderland, the parents wrap the donated gifts, the children make crafts, and the families eat while hearing the story about Jesus’ birth.

  • This event will be held at the DeSoto County Dream Center on Saturday, December 14th from 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

  • We would love to have you join us in blessing families of DeSoto County this holiday season. Volunteers are needed in areas such as set-up, check-in, childcare, crafts, wrapping, Elf guides, food, and tear-down.

  • If you have questions, please email info@desotodreamcenter.org or give us a call at 662-510-5900.
